How to create a team channel on Mattermost

You will need

• Business email
• Host server or you can also use Mattermost cloud

Note: In this guide, we will be using Mattermost cloud

Step By Step

Step 1: Create an account in Mattermost

Go through this link and create your account on Mattermost cloud for the team channel. Here you have to do a few simple steps like:

• Verify the account with a verification code, which they will send to your inbox.
• Add your company name
• Wait for a while

Step 2: Create your workspace

Here, you can choose your workspace URL or go with the default. Then click the “Start collaborating” button and proceed.

Step 3: Now welcome to your workspace

Here, you have to complete 5 steps:

1. Complete your profile
2. Name your team
3. Set up notifications
4. Invite members to the team
5. Download the Desktop and Mobile apps

These are very straightforward and simple steps, just follow these.

After completing all these steps, click on “Finish” and proceed.

Step 4 Know about some basic features

Now, you are ready to collaborate and interact with the team. So, over here you have to know basic things like…
